Laura Hadar’s boutique shop in SLC, FICE, is releasing a rad new collab with Oakley and their Frogskins collection. Oakley has been teaming up with speciality shops for ahwile now and it has been cool to see what they come up with.
The private launch is set for September 27th at FICE in Salt Lake City. The party continues after the launch, with everyone moving over to Club Sound at 9 P.M. for some 80’s electronic fun.

It looks like Oakley Frogskins are going to be hanging around for a longtime. The latest madness surrounding the hype is this upcoming pair which collabo’s with Colette, an artsy centric boutique in France. For all you Frenchies, French lovers or French wannabe’s, these things come in transparent plastic frames and feature stars that match Colette’s iconic blue color. Bring on the next collabo Oakley.

BLENDS and Oakley are throwing an event together called ‘Retrospectacle’ which will be going down on July 10th from 7 to 10 P.M. at BLENDS in Los Angeles.
Oakley will be displaying a bunch of new pieces from a new lineup of a newly developed artist series program. But the main event of the night will come when they present a very unique Oakley Frogskins limited edition piece (pictured above) which was designed by the crew at BLENDS. The colorway was inspired by the original gradient coloring on the Oakley iridium lens. Only 20 of these babies will be born so if you get one, go sell it on ebay in a year or so and I am sure you will come up with some nice cash.

Oakley, New Era and Almost Skateboards are partnering up to launch a collection of products dedicated to Greg Lutzka. How rad is that? The press release states that it’s called the “Good Livin’” collection and all three companies used the same colorways and design inspiration for the project.
What stands out to me are the limited edition Oakley Frogskins shades that are white frames with purple lenses. Man are these things going to fly off the shelves! If anyone from Oakley is reading this, please send us some love. You can view these new Frogskins in detail after the jump.

Oakley is killing right now with their Oakley Frogskins sunglasses. These things are turning into collector’s items and selling out fast. Are frogskins the new iphone? Normally you would pay around $100 for these on the Oakley website, but they are sold out there was well. You can still get them on eBay but they are marked up way over the MSRP. Each month Oakley is introducing a new color to the collection.
Last month we told you about the Yellow Neon, Fire Oakley Frogskins, this month it’s the Rootbeer + Fire combo. These are hot, if you have some or find a killer deal somewhere, let us know.

This year Oakley is releasing a new color for their popular Frogskins glass, each month. This month, Oakley is going with a vibrant matte yellow neon frame with mirrored “fire” lenses. I am heating up just talking about these things. I think it’s partly because my mac heats up so much, but let’s face it, this colorway is pretty hot as well and Oakley is on point with these. If you dig these you better get them fast, because these won’t ever be produced again.

The cypher13 team whipped up these paintings over the weekend for our homies bday. He’s kind of an eighties freak.
