there are days that I just don’t feel like I am up to par with the rest of the world…
*sigh*
I hope it’ll be better tomorrow.
On the other hand…
This weekend will be fun again: [T]RAMP CAMP will be on again and I can’t wait to be snowboarding in NYC in Summer!

World Ollie Record Video

Growing up skateboarding, I always wanted to ollie the highest. I could never land it very high, however, I was always able to ollie onto things, and over things, just couldn’t do it stationary. Or just for the sake of an ollie, but give me an obstacle and I could throwdown quite a bit. Earlier this year, the World Ollie Record was broken, and here is the footage to prove it:

Deathbowl To Downtown

In recent years the Skateboarding documentary has become a way to explore the origins of skateboarding, the rise and fall of certain skateboarders, and at times explain the personalities and ideas that make skateboarding such a unique experience for every individual that has ever stood on a board to kick & push.In this latest documentary, the filmmakers embark on a journey through art and style to discover why NYC is such a large mecca for skateboarding. Aside from California, New York City, gets credited with a lot of swagger in the realms of street skateboarding. Along the way the film makers discover that it’s more than just a city, and it’s more than just 4 wheels, and deck, it is about community beyond tangible restraints or verses already spoken. Check out the official site of the film, here, and scope the trailer here.

BACK IN NYC

So am back in NYC. Pretty much bummed out that Tahoe is still on fire, over 270 houses are lost in the blaze and I hope it’ll be extuingished soon.
NYC stinks, something I didn’t really realize before… but yesterday, when I walked to the car I nearly had to throw up.
Today I started my liquid diet… yeah am on the lemonade fast… lets see what it’ll do to me… I’ll probably start hallucinating and being sick soon… but I am determined to keep it up for at least 5 days.
Mr. Jewlicious is still texting me, asking me ‘for a night’ this week. Well have to give him some credit that he’s def. not cupcakin’ the situation but, after being ignored for nearly 2 months, I think he should be getting the message that I am not really that in to him.
