You know we live our lives watching watered down contests and everyone slangin their new Nike SB’s or the matching custom New Era fitteds. We tend to get off tack a bit. Every once in awhile an amazing contest will go down in the history books and show us what Skateboarding was founded upon and what it should really be about. Thrasher decided to throw an event that would teach us this important lesson. Check out the footy:

In4mation just got some new fall gear from Nike SB. The line features fitted caps and Nike SB logo tees. They look pretty good. I am just wondering how long large plaid prints are going to be in style. We have seem this same look for years now, but it keeps on selling. I am not complaining though.

Nike SB hit the road on their Viking Tour, hitting up spots around the world. While I’m not the biggest fan of Nike SB, even I can’t deny that they are giving back to skateboarding on a global basis, far more than the average skateboarding company, and are at least showcasing skateboarding in a way that is not “selling out”…at least most of the time. If you live near the Seattle area you should be stoked. The new Highland Skate Plaza is hosting it’s official grand opening on May 16. A bunch of festivities will be going down such as a best trick contest and a skate demo and autograph signing from the Nike SB team.
