If you haven’t heard the news yet, P Rod is opening up a new boutique in L.A. called Primitive. If you know Paul, you know he is a nice guy and you know that this place will be blowing up very fast due to his extensive niceness and fact that he destroys the streets on a skateboard. The shop is set to feature brands such as Nike, Adidas, Converse, New Balance, Plan B, Diamond, The Hundreds, 10Deep, Stussy, ALife, Clae, Crooks & Castles, and more. The grand opening party is going down on July 27th and is going to be

Nike just released the new P Rod 2 which comes in black/lava/white. Paul Rodriguez must be pretty stoked on life right now because these are some ill looking kicks. Oh wait, P Rod is stoked on life because he pulls all kinds of chicks and has deep pockets. Well regardless, thanks for the shoes. These are already popping up in shops all over.

I know we are a bit late on this but it’s still a worthy post. Alkaline Trio and Nike have collabo’d to bring you a very unique kick. The shoe is called the Heart and Sole Air Zoom Cush and will be produced with a limited run of messenger bags to be released on June 27th.
Nike is still continuing to dominate the market despite all the haters out there that don’t feel like Nike should be involved in the action sports industry. They are doing some pretty rad things and as far as I am concerned, progressing more than any other company

If you live near the Seattle area you should be stoked. The new Highland Skate Plaza is hosting it’s official grand opening on May 16. A bunch of festivities will be going down such as a best trick contest and a skate demo and autograph signing from the Nike SB team.
This should be a bangin’ good time. If you are going to be attending the event, make sure you hit us back with some photos and a story about what went down. You can do that here.

Bobby Meeks is doin’ work! Not only is he doing work but he is doing it in the wee hours of the night over at Nike Headquarters, trying to get the Snowboarding program on lock. If you go to the site you will notice that it is a Surveillance cam of Bobby Meeks. It just so happened that when I checked out the site, Bobby was starting to fade out. And then, the following happened:

SouthoftheNorth has the new product ‘ish on lock lately with a fresh look at the brand new Nike Snowboarding Boots from SIA in Las Vegas. From the photo below, the boots don’t look very bad at all. Judging from how Nike has been dominating lately in skate and other action sports, I am predicting they will dominate in Snowboarding as well. They already have a killer Snowboard Team which includes Danny Kass, Louie Vito, Annie Boulanger, Justin Benee, Eric Jackson and Laura Hadar. Can’t wait to see the rest of the line!
