I was recently reading an interview with The Game and he said the Travis Barker is his homeboy. They are both artists, and they are both tatted up, although I think it’s safe to say that Travis is working The Game in that category. The much anticipated new LAX album by The game is getting closer to it’s release. Here is a sneak peak at the track “Dope Boys” featuring T Bark.

Just what everyone needs, some new thing to waste even more precious time with… But that’s the fun of it right? Sony has just released a product called Rolly and it is now available at all Sony stores in the United States after initially being released in Japan.
This 2GB MP3 ball of music, moves when you play your tunes and is pretty rad to say the the least. Although, it does look like it could get a little annoying after awhile. I really don’t know if these will catch on in the U.S.. Check out the video below to see how this musical robotic wonderment works.

When I was younger, I used to call Portishead “porpoise head”. I never saw the appeal.
Now that I’ve lived another 10 years, I see the talent and hear the amazing musical stylings of Portishead for more than just a random musical endeavor. The lyrics to any Portishead song can be somewhat haunting, and the tone in which the delivery breaks through the vapid music scene, is just top notch.
With their latest album, you can tell that they are up to their old antics, and aspiring for a little more.
You can stream the whole Portishead album now, and see if you like it…or if you’ll stick to your metal.
P.s Metal rules!

Free music is always a great thing, and Eyeball Records is giving away a free compilation to introduce you to their line up of bands. If you’re into underground music, you’re going to love this compilation from Eyeball Records. The track listing is as follows:
01. Baumer - “In Your Stead”
02. New Atlantic - “Cold-Hearted Town”
03. The Number 12 - “Grandfather”
04. Sleep Station - “Always In The Fire”
05. Pompeii - “Numbers”
06. Kiss Kiss - “Satellite”
07. Jettie - “Start/Stop”
So it’s just 7 tracks, it’s a nice introduction to the Eyeball roster, and if you’re not familiar with the label, you’ll get yourself into some new bands and hopefully get yourself away from the cookie cutter main stream music world.
Plus it’s free, you can’t beat that at all. Click here, to get yourself a free comp, it’s worth it, seriously.

For those of you that are big fans of System of a Down, you probably already have the new Serj Tankian cd, which fits nicely in the world of System of a Down. But some of you might miss the guitar riffs that were driven by the guitar player of System. Well, now you can hear what the rest of the band is doing, sans Serj, as Scars on Broadway. A lot of speculation went into what they would sound like, but now the world will know! You can hear a new track from the band by clicking here. That’s right, free music again pokes its head out on a Friday.
