You know how everywhere you look these days, there is a new whack apparel brand popping up? I swear everyone at least knows someone or has a friend that knows someone that has started their own “clothing line” and then can’t figure out why it just didn’t catch on. The funny thing is everyone has the same line — “We are going to be the next Volcom, just watch!” I say to those people, ya right. Give up now, you know who you are.
Some of our close friends here at Seshn have decided to start up a new company that’s going to kill it. They are starting from scratch, getting the right people involved and going to do well, in my honest opinion.
The brand is called Advice. The plan was to launch the brand in spring/summer 09, but we could see it hit stores as early as holiday ‘08. Advice is backed by some amazing artists so far including Jeff Hamada, LaFlamme, Hydro74, Chuck Loose, Danny Jones, Troy White, Ryan Anzures, and Jon Paul Douglass.
