Beijing, China is now the home to an indoor refrigerated snow dome housing 1 big booter and 2 smaller ones, two rails, a funbox, a couple barrel features, a wallride, and a poma lift so you don’t have to hike it. They’re calling it the Burton Qiaobo Mellow Park but what it means is 365 days of riding a year… if you happen to live there.

Blind skateboards recently sent their European crew to kill it in China. Here’s the footage of their insane trip, full of tricks, and awesome skate footage. You owe it a look, then go hit your city up for some skateboarding action.

With a booming population of skateboarders in China, and an endless potential to make money overseas, action sports company are touring the red country to promote skateboarding. Some call it a noble cause, I call it an effort to make money off of the booming Chinese economy, but whatever. RVCA is over there right now, and they just completed their sixth blog update with photos from their Chinese adventures. You can check out all the photos (there’s a ton of them) and the latest ramblings from the RVCA skate team, over at their official blog, here. Who’s next to skate China? It seems like that’s the hot spot for touring right now.

The team over at Fallen Skate Shoes, have recently posted pictures from their latest treks into the unknown. First up they wen to Mexico, and showed the legions of Mexican skateboarders a thing or two about skateboarding, and hooked up a lot of my brethren with some free shoes, which is a huge blessing. In between all that, they hit some spots, met some girls, and documented it all for you.
Just when you thought that was all, Fallen also took a trip to China, where skateboarding is seeing immense growth. Sure, Lakai and Zoo York were already there, but now it was Fallen’s turn to see what they could do in the red country of China.
You can see more photos, and news from the Fallen Skateboarding team’s trip to Mexico & China, by checking out the black box distro website here or the official Fallen website here.

Recently the Lakai footwear crew landed in mainland China, but one thing bugged me about this epic event. The guys from Lakai, coming off of one of the best skateboarding dvd’s ever made, is skateboarding the same spots that Zoo York skated last year, and documented it on video! I’m not trying to start some beef between East Coast Skateboarding and West Coast Skate Shoes, but come on now, can’t we see a team go to China and skate something that hasn’t been skated before? Instead we get the same old spots, same old tricks, but new school mentality. The Lakai team still ripped it, and Slapmagazine.com was along to cover it.
