Fall Out Boy is not going to be doing that huge show in several continents after all. We did report that they were going to be venturing forth on that awesome simultaneous tour in hopes to bring awareness to some cause or something.
Who cares right?
Fall Out Boy can go back to doing whatever it is that they do.

In an interesting move by any band, Chiodos is going to be doing a show live online. This is not the first time a band has tried to broadcast a concert online, as many radio stations do this all the time for bands. However, this time it’s not going to be free, and the promoters are promising full resolution high definition streaming HD video. That’s right, HD quality streaming video and audio with multiple angles, and full interactivity with the band. That’s not all, you’ll also be able to request songs and hear what you want to hear from the band, all of this live and in full motion video.
The downside?
This is not going to be free for all. You have to pay 6.99 to enjoy all this, and that’s not too bad, considering they are promising to deliver a unique concert experience online, and do it right. Full HD! To get yourself a ticket to this interesting venue, click here, and read more about it. It still seems odd to charge for a concert online, and maybe other bands are going to join the fray of online concert promotions.

Metal band Obituary had to cancel their upcoming tour. In a message from the band, they have cited that it was due to difficulties outside of their control. Translation: Metal doesn’t pay the bills.

Some call it a noble cause, I call it an effort to make money off of the booming Chinese economy, but whatever. RVCA is over there right now, and they just completed their sixth blog update with photos from their Chinese adventures. You can check out all the photos (there’s a ton of them) and the latest ramblings from the RVCA skate team, over at their official blog, here. Who’s next to skate China? It seems like that’s the hot spot for touring right now.

The crew over at Darkstar Skateboards took their boards on the road and cameras followed, as is the custom for skateboarding companies. See the recent updated edit from last years summer of mayhem, then get on a board and skate on this nice St. Patrick’s Day!
