Fallen Skateboards has unleashed a trailer for their latest adventure entitled “Ride the Sky” and the guys in Fallen have really turned it up a notch, check out the trailer below:

You’re going to want to keep your eyes out on this one, because the shows are most likely going to sell out fast. If you haven’t seen Nine Inch Nails before, you’re going to be in for a treat. The catalog of music they have is huge, and the live show is just great.

For those of you that are big fans of System of a Down, you probably already have the new Serj Tankian cd, which fits nicely in the world of System of a Down. But some of you might miss the guitar riffs that were driven by the guitar player of System. Well, now you can hear what the rest of the band is doing, sans Serj, as Scars on Broadway. A lot of speculation went into what they would sound like, but now the world will know! You can hear a new track from the band by clicking here. That’s right, free music again pokes its head out on a Friday.

The Vans skate team is hitting the road in a new tour bus, and is going to be rocking the skateparks, skate shops, and local spots along the way. If they show up in your town, you can get some cool free stuff, free food, and catch some of the best skateboarders in the world, do what they do best: Skateboard!

The tour is going to be hitting the midwest,east,and then the doors are open to second leg of the tour?

Vans, is finally stepping up with a good promotional tour.

The Melvins have announced a new album set for release on July 8th, 2008. The album entitled “Nude With Boots” will feature 11 new tracks from the band, consisting of the members that recorded their last disc released in 2006. The band will also be headed out on a full blown promotional tour in support of the album. The tourdates are yet to be announced, but the album should rock hard.

Just when you thought Suge was out of the game, here he comes pitching a new reality show series that will chronicle his trials and tribulations in trying to launch a new record label. Along the way his cronies beat people up, visit “the hood” and generally take you behind the scenes of what it takes to launch a hip hop record label in todays market. Oh and here’s a sneak peak!

If you are going to buy one book this year it should be Faces of Skateboarding. Faces of Skateboarding was created by Swedish Photographer, Daniel Mansson. Mansson travelled for two years to create this awesome collection of 50 portraits capturing some of the world’s most influential Skateboarders such as Tony Hawk, Danny Way, Jason Lee, Eric Koston, Tom Penny and  a bunch of others. The book is 160 pages and is sure to give you some motivation to go skate.

Daniel Mansson definitely has raw, documentary-portrait style, using using sharp contrasts and natural moody lighting. Mansson is a advertising, press and skateboard photographer, located in Stockholm and Los Angeles.

Fall Out Boy is not going to be doing that huge show in several continents after all. We did report that they were going to be venturing forth on that awesome simultaneous tour in hopes to bring awareness to some cause or something.

Who cares right?

Fall Out Boy can go back to doing whatever it is that they do.

Hubba Wheels might be known for their outrageous skate mag ads, but they also make quality products and sponsor some of the best in skateboarding. Recently they released some great footage from rider OJ Farrar, hitting the streets and making some noise. Check out the video, and then get off the computer and go skate!

Es Footwear might not have Koston anymore, but they are still putting out skateboarding shoes like there is no tomorrow. In a recent blog update, they decided to let out some footage of Manuel de Jong ripping the Burnside mini-ramp. Pretty slick stuff, and nothing crazy, just straight mini-ramp and skateboarding. I wish I had a mini in my house…instead I have a computer. Maybe it’s time to trade it in?
