So if you’re around Mt. Hood at all this summer you may bump into Alice. She’ll be kickin’ it at Windell’s.
Headed to Hood she left Reno - with or without the stick

This beast on the side of the road is on the way from Reno to Hood. Perhaps you’ve seen it? That road is traveled hard by snow lovers.

This is Mt. Hood finally getting out of the clouds.

Since I grew up in Vermont I know what Jill means when she says she’s ready for summer. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever been in the summer, Portland ain’t so bad either.
Here’s what Jill’s been up to:
“We just got a boxer puppy named Strummer (he’s 13 weeks old now) and we have a 2 yr old female boxer named Sophia. He’s named after the late Joe Strummer of the Clash. They are so much fun together. These guys have so much energy and are always ready to run. They get along great and always make me laugh, they are such goofballs!!
Weather has been so-so lately so it’s been hard to get any decent skate pictures. Hopefully it will dry out and warm up some more and I can get a few decent ones. We are getting ANOTHER park built in the area. I’m so stoked, gonna be the largest outdoor park in Vermont and it’s free!!”
Here are some photos of Jill and her pooch:

Here are some shots of Kim Lamarre’s winter. She’s holding down Quebec at the moment and just celebrated her 20th on the 20th! Uuummm cute.

Photo’s in her words:
“one is when I was in whistler my friend and I had a hitchiking adventure to vancouver it was pretty fun day… we got our palms read by some funny drunk guy on the street..and the best part about the story is that the ride we got back to whistler was a cadillac limo service ..the ride is usually from van to whistler 385$ without the tip so my friends and I were pretty stoked to get that ride back to whistler for free hehe.

the other one is when I went down from whistler to oregon to meet up with the newschoolers.com crew for the west coast super session. That trip was lots of fun. It was like an end of season gathering. There was people from everywhere Colorado, Utah, Whistler, Tahoe, Quebec, Korea, Idaho, Japan, Spain and New Hampshire and we just skied at meadows and sun bowl for a few days and we were staying at the windells camp. It was my first time down in mt.hood but that place and the mountains are really fun so for sure not my last trip there.

These shots are from when Kim went to Hood. Action shots taken by ck connell.

So I’ve been informed by Ella (who’s here in the states with us for a bit but from Germany) that there is a European competition where each country sends one band to compete for …well, I’m assuming the title of ‘most awesoem band in Europe’.
Geiri sent this in from the Icelandic - even though Iceland is NOT a part of Europe and they like it that way:

Our homey Omer Saar from Universoul Productions has a dope project going on and it’s for a good cause. You don’t find too many people these days doing this, so listen up…
“THE GREEN ALBUM is a project I’ve had mostly finished for 3 years now. It’s a full-length Hip-Hop remix album over all Al Green sample-made beats. It will be the first official music project I have shared with the world. I truly love it and I want to share it with as many people as possible. Most of the songs being remixed come from hip hop’s “golden era.” Artist such as De La Soul, Mos Def, Big L, Ghostface, Method Man, Notorious B.I.G., Pharcyde, Nas, AZ, Pharoahe Monch, Fugees, Jay-Z, Das Efx, Mobb Deep, and Busta Rhymes. I added a few other artists that I’m a fan of such as MF DOOM, Saukrates, and FINALE. I will almost definitely make a few more tracks in addition to those.”
The Green Album will be released on May 27th here. Make set a reminder to check it out.
Profits from this project go to a great non-profit foundation called STAY TRUE, which was founded by Omer’s brother Nir Saar. Their mission is to increase social awareness and engagement of those students that are most affected by the ailments of society.
Seshn fully suppors Omer and the Stay True Foundation. You should do the same!

Our favorite Florida skate photog, Mike Heikkila is the new lensmen under the microscope over at Shutter Butter. Mike has a passion for what he does as you can see in his portfolio. Not only that but this guy is up every night into the wee hours. When you are up at 2 in the morning on the west coast and you see that Heikkila is still on AIM, you know that guy has been pounding some caffeine or playing some Grand Theft Auto IV. Anyways check out his quiver of photos now!

Here you have two all new FKD commercials, each displaying one of their riders. Biebel and Lutzka get the bearing treatment on this update from FKD bearings.

Seshn: Where you posted at?
CB: Twin Peaks, CA…Big Bear
Seshn: Who are your sponsors?
CB: Technine, Electric Visual, Neff, Vans, Big Bear, Ambigious
Seshn: What do you want to take from snowboarding?
CB: RESPECT!!!!!!!!!
Seshn: Why is Dingo so popular?
CB: WHO?????…oh you mean that guy from Australia?!?!?!
Seshn: What is your whip game like?
CB: You know I roll stunna style. Got that 2000 beater Subaru on some all black stock 15″ rims. Then I got a cracked windshield so the PoPo dont spot me. Also got me two 15’s running off 500 watts. Str8 Ghetto Fab
Seshn: What riders should we look out for?
CB: There are too many to name. Much respect to Goon Squad, Nico Cioffi, and Midget Mafia..Repersent!
Seshn: What is your favorite thing about snowboarding?
CB: They way it feels. It’s a good escape from the bull shit.
Seshn: Some say your style is one of the best in the game. What influences your style of riding?
CB: I do it how I can do it. I just keep it all about me and what feels right.
Seshn: What is one thing you want to change about snowboarding?
CB: Bitch ass faggots. There are way too many people that talk way too much. People need to get out of my business unless your on some grown man business. I am about to ride down the hill naked covered in blood to scare people and give them something to talk about.
Seshn: What is like filming “Bozwreck 2″?
CB: Shit is raw. Snowboarding ain’t ready for what Nate[Bozung] and Matty[Ryan] are about to release and I think it’s funny. But on the real some of the best uncut and uncensored snowboarding is going down in Bozwreck.
Seshn: So how is your part in “Familia”…the Finga on Da Trigga flick.
CB: I work hard when Cole[Taylor] ain’t choking me and [Lucas]Magoon out. I am pumped to see what this years flick is going to look like. We got some heavy hitters holding down the block.

Seshn: Do you want your daughter to pursue snowboarding?
CB: My daughter has been shredding since she came out the gut. If she wants to pursue it I got her back for life.. she is my little soldier. But my advise to her is keep away from the money hungry sharks in the indusrty. A lot of big heads are just trying to use people for their wealth and care less about us getting broke off. Sometimes I want to beat these busters down , but I don’t want to catch a case over some waldo getting stuck.
Seshn: What advice can you give to kids that want to pro shreds?
CB: Keep shredding and fuck the agents trying to swoop you up. Tell them to get raped…fucking molester’s. Also listen to your parents and stay away from strangers.
Seshn: Shout Outz !
CB: To all my fucking homies..you know who you are! C-Town, V.O.E, my sponsors (unless the check is late…hahaha just playin), and all the Cat’s out there repping the lifestyle…..S.T.D. (shred till death)

Peppa just shot over an e-mail with this lil’ number:
