Our friends at Atmosphere Clothing are giving you a peek at their new summer line for ‘08. Atmosphere is a true example of progression. Their lines continue to get better every year. Mad props to Prosser and all his hard work he has put into it. Check out the Atmosphere Blog to see the rest of the line.

The fine folks at Vestal did this little number with their surf destroyer, Clay Marzo. Clay is an up and coming phenom in surfing and is actually one of my favorite surfers to watch right now. How is he in front of a camera? Pretty classic.

BLENDS and Oakley are throwing an event together called ‘Retrospectacle’ which will be going down on July 10th from 7 to 10 P.M. at BLENDS in Los Angeles. 

Oakley will be displaying a bunch of new pieces from a new lineup of a newly developed artist series program. But the main event of the night will come when they present a very unique Oakley Frogskins limited edition piece (pictured above) which was designed by the crew at BLENDS. The colorway was inspired by the original gradient coloring on the Oakley iridium lens. Only 20 of these babies will be born so if you get one, go sell it on ebay in a year or so and I am sure you will come up with some nice cash. 

Nike just released the new P Rod 2 which comes in black/lava/white. Paul Rodriguez must be pretty stoked on life right now because these are some ill looking kicks. Oh wait, P Rod is stoked on life because he pulls all kinds of chicks and has deep pockets. Well regardless, thanks for the shoes. These are already popping up in shops all over.

Here’s the latest trailer about the Maloof Cup that is going down this July. If you’re not aware what the Maloof Cup is, then you need to wake up! It’s a skateboarding contest that is going to be giving away 100K to the #1 street skateboarder. The street course, to be made in Las Vegas, will be specifically designed for street skateboarding and will not feature some lame X-Games quarterpipe crap. This is the real deal, and it has been recently picked up by a national network for live coverage, just like a legit sport.

Red Bull and Embasi hosted a Manny Mania skate contest in Manchester, NH on June 28th. This contest celebrated Embasi’s grand opening of their Manchester store. It was a manual contest with a three part manny pad (flatbox, up down, and step down). Around 60 skaters competed in the event. Dillon Buss ended up winning the event and a VIP trip to the Manny Mania contest in NYC plus a bunch of swag. All photos by me. Altamont, the skate clothing brand created by Andrew Reynolds, Mark Foster, and Patrick O’Dell, is introducing a nice collection of artist collabo t-shirts. They hooked up with some dope artists to knock these shirts out, including Neckface, Ricky Powell, Alyasha Owerka-Moore, J.Lorenzi, French and FOS.
