About The Book:
Photographer Rob Mathis has just released his first hardcover book documenting the last 10 plus years of shooting. The book, SLIDE, features JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Peter Line, Darrell Mathes, Eddie Wall, Seth Huot and many more. SLIDE offers a behind the scenes look at the infamous Forum 8 and other all star crews from Mack Dawg Productions. This 240 page hardcover book was designed by Jared Eberhardt, the man behind the Burton book, Blower.
After all kinds of people asking about when we were going to make some t-shirts, we knew we couldn’t let them down. But the problem was, we couldn’t figure out what type of design to put on the front. After thinking for months on what we could put on our shirts we had our design guy come up with this half-tone version of someone we jam to nearly every day at the Seshn offices, Bob Marley.

Jon Steele chimes in to give us an update from the Art as Therapy Show:
Better late than never as we have finally gotten a string of waves and I have been back to work shootin and enjoying the California Lifestyle! I just wanted to say a HUGE Thanks for all the support with the last showing of “Art As Therapy” consisting of myself and Mr. Wade Koniakowsky. With a beautiful night came the beautiful people out to the Ocean Art Studio in Solana Beach Friday. With Wahoo’s to fill the belly and Karl Strauss letting us sample some of their wonderful beverages, the eye candy and art purchasing was just , well, as smooth and enjoyable as the beer and wine.
Attendees were overheard with comments being thrown around like “fresh”, “exciting” and “amazing”, as the show was a great success and thrilled everyone who attended.
A huge thanks to Infinity board shop for the donated boards and glassing. These are some of the finest art pieces Mr. Steele has done to date. (see attatched imagery) As well as Sector 9 for the board donations and help!

So Vermont is notorious for it’s spastic weather. Good thing it was bright and sunny for the Maven + Nikita bbq earlier this season.

Austrian team gal Sabine Doppelhofer sent in some photos recently. She had a nasty accident over the Christmas holiday and had to undergo a pretty crazy operation. She broke the upper part of her shin and the doctors had to take bone material from her hip to fill the break. Ugh.
It’s been 7 months since the accident and she’s managed to get back on her motocross bike again though it’s still difficult to jog and walk. Wowzer.
