Rage Against the Machine might be embarking on a secret recording to be released later this year, but the latest record from Antiflag is out right now. The interesting thing about all this, is the fact that during an MTV visit, Tom Morello was quick to dismiss a new Rage cd, but when things were closing down, the boys in Antiflag stated that they are most likely going to go out on the road supporting a full scale Rage Against the Machine summer tour.
Any truth to the matter? Check out what MTVNEWS has to say about it, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

At least that’s what the X Games thinks… April 3, ESPN announced that they would permanently be canceling Vert Skateboarding from X Games competition.
“It’s time. It’s been time. ESPN’s always a little slow on the uptake. It’s no secret that the vert field has stayed the same for the last decade. It’s no secret that there aren’t any vert ramps for kids to ride outside Southern California. If you want a vert career, you have to move there,” says X Games General Manager Chris Stiepock.
I think they should keep vert but spice it up a bit. Maybe let everyone go at once or even put in some obstacles in the middle of the ramp. Or better yet, maybe set the skaters up with balls that they have to throw into baskets when they are at the climax of their jump, and then they can be rewarded points based off the amount of balls they make into the basket. Who knows, but if you are listening to me right now ESPN, I would definitely take these ideas into consideration.
Quick update: Vert Skateboarding at the X Games has been officially brought back to life. No Joke! Read more about this crazy act of Skateboarding Godliness by clicking here.

Jordan Hoffart is the man. Since joining Seshn, Jordan has been a man on a mission to update his blogsite so the rest of the world knows what he has been up to with his skating. We recently set up JordanHoffart.com so that it links to his blogsite and we are stoked. So spread the word, check out his site, and here is a little gem below for you from Jordan’s recent MagMinute with The Skateboard Mag.
Ipath claims they are entering the surf game today by the creation of a new surf team. This is no joke, you can check out the press release here. Ipath which is known by everyone as a skateboarding company, plans on making a big impact in the surf world as they add pro surfers Nick Jiampa, Pat Millin, Ben McBrien, Rob Wurlitzer and Will Skudin.
This is very interesting as we are seeing more and more companies getting into different sports. We are seeing snow companies buyout surf companies and skate companies, and we are seeing skate companies getting into surfing….. What’s next? Skateboarders starting inline skate brands?
