Nine Inch Nails has let out a little text message with the cryptic words “Two Weeks” out. What’s going on? The last time that Nine Inch Nails said the same thing, they released their free cd, uploaded music to bittorrent and so much more.
So what’s next?
Is it a tour? Is it the full original line up? Is it a new album for free?
I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but Nine Inch Nails has a way of premiering new ideas now that they are free of record label ties, that no other band can match. Not even those idiots in Radiohead.

Metallica is up to something. Seriously, they are up to something, but does anyone know what? Their latest effort to get more “with it” is to allow their fans instant gratification, but what is it exactly?
Apparently a new album is in the works, and you can be the first one to hear it, or maybe you’ll see a video of it…or maybe they’ll show a video, or maybe their therapist is going to jump in and write lyrics for them…
maybe it’s nothing, maybe it’s something….
Whatever the case is, Metallica has to step up their game, because a lot of fans are waiting to see if they are going to continue to suck.
Here’s the latest…….are you in? Mission:Metallica is live.
If you live near the Seattle area you should be stoked. The new Highland Skate Plaza is hosting it’s official grand opening on May 16. A bunch of festivities will be going down such as a best trick contest and a skate demo and autograph signing from the Nike SB team.
This should be a bangin’ good time. If you are going to be attending the event, make sure you hit us back with some photos and a story about what went down. You can do that here.
Brian Krezel just dropped a grip of super hot iPhone wallpaper for download at JoyEngine.com. Worth a look!

Stoked Sessions is a benefit auction to raise money to give at-risk youth the opportunity to try alternative sports, like surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding. One of the greater ideas I have heard of in a long time. Anyways, the action starts this Saturday in L.A. at The Grind Art and Print Gallery. The event features a silent auction of over 600 one-of-a-kind skateboard decks from today’s leading artists in skateboarding, surfing and street art.
Featured artists include: Caballero, Christian Hosoi, Chris Pastras, Abe Lincoln, Jr, Hit + Run, Todd Bratrud, Eyeone, Joey Potts, Kofie’one, Draftsmen, Enik One, Norton Wisdom, Joe Joe Webb, and Marco Zamora.
This is an event you don’t want to miss! For more info and tickets go to stokedsessions.com

Blondie got a bad rap for making it on the wings of disco music, but they didn’t start off polished and full of pretense. They grew out of the CBGB punk rock scene in New York City, and somehow along the way they have made a few good records, although the disco era doesn’t help their street cred.
I know, it’s a little odd to think of Blondie in terms of punk rock, but really, I kid you not, Blondie was a part in the early stages of American punk rock, alongside The Ramones and others.
Well for those of you that are open minded, you will be able to enjoy them one more time as they are going on tour and trying to make a go at it, one more time. I just saw the singer in that movie “Videodrome” and she used to be hot…man, she could still sing too…why not give them a second chance?
Or at least look into the punk rock history books and see where they mention Blondie.

One of the coolest things about Element skateboards is that they give back to the community. One such example is this video that features the Element skate camp. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and it’s just fantastic. Think woodward, but not so expensive and not riddled with stories of Ryan Sheckler. Check out the latest video from Element, below:
