The Mustachio recently sat down with Nima Jalili to talk about Ashbury Eyewear and what the story is behind it. It is a great interview as expected but it’s cool to see a company doing something completely different and out of the ordinary. |

Win Rome Libertine Boots Signed by LNPPosted on July 3rd, 2008 1 Comment »
|
Here’s the first way to win: Correctly answer these four questions and email the answers to winner@romesnowboards.com along with your full name and mailing address and we’ll pick one winner at random. 1. What type of liner does the Libertine boot have? 2. Name one thing that’s on fire in the No Correct Way Teaser (we mean real fire not in the 1994 NBA JAM “he’s on fire” sense) 3. What color do you prefer in the Libertine? 4. What mountain is LNP at where he’s up on a rail throwing the peace sign? Here’s the second way to win: You may notice in the teaser that LNP’s looking a little like Jimi Hendrix has possessed his soul these days. The question is, can you be go one step further in the 1967 hippie style? All you have to do is send in a photo of you dressed up in your most hippie, (or not dressed up if your everyday gear is a Woodstock fest) and email it into winner@romesnowboards.com with your full mailing address and name and we’ll pick one winner with the best outfit. All entries must be in by July 13th 2008 Winners will receive their boots by October 1st |
Burton opens Indoor Terrain Park in BeijingPosted on June 16th, 2008 +Add a Comment »

Beijing, China is now the home to an indoor refrigerated snow dome housing 1 big booter and 2 smaller ones, two rails, a funbox, a couple barrel features, a wallride, and a poma lift so you don’t have to hike it. They’re calling it the Burton Qiaobo Mellow Park but what it means is 365 days of riding a year… if you happen to live there. |

They gathered all the snow left over from the halfpipe and set up an impressive 9 features for a rail jam including a crazy new C Box, a dance floor, and many of other boxes and rails. It was 70 degrees, clear skies, and everyone was stoked to be able to get a little more riding in. Matt Beck from Burton announced the event and Lotus Entertainment’s DJs Russell and DJ provided the music. If you want to see all the pictures I took go here. Kids Hiking Lotus entertainment providing well.. the entertainment with DJ Russell spinning with ZJ in the back Riley Nickerson destroying the C Box Banks Gilberti looking good as always |

A dollar and a day late but here’s the crappy keystone vid. It’s filmed in two runs cause the weather was shitty and me and Gerrit just wanted to shred. Some Sundown Showdown footage in there as well. There was no sun coming down but the snow was coming down full force. A rail jam in the snow is pretty funny but filming it is another story. Au revoir from your hairy friends..! www.themustachio.com |
