Here’s the latest trailer about the Maloof Cup that is going down this July. If you’re not aware what the Maloof Cup is, then you need to wake up! It’s a skateboarding contest that is going to be giving away 100K to the #1 street skateboarder. The street course, to be made in Las Vegas, will be specifically designed for street skateboarding and will not feature some lame X-Games quarterpipe crap. This is the real deal, and it has been recently picked up by a national network for live coverage, just like a legit sport.

Red Bull and Embasi hosted a Manny Mania skate contest in Manchester, NH on June 28th. This contest celebrated Embasi’s grand opening of their Manchester store. It was a manual contest with a three part manny pad (flatbox, up down, and step down). Around 60 skaters competed in the event. Dillon Buss ended up winning the event and a VIP trip to the Manny Mania contest in NYC plus a bunch of swag. All photos by me. Shout out to Mary Walsh who organized the event and Lotus Entertainment for spinning records.
Check out the rest of the photos after the jump.

Kr3w just hooked up with Kevin Romar for an interview over on their website. K-RO has been killing it lately and is getting pretty tight with Kr3w from the sounds of things. Romar talks about Call of Duty 4, his new part in Digital’s new film, Smoke and Mirrors, and a couple other tidbits. It’s a pretty short interview, but worth a peep as this kid is on the up-and-up and going to start popping pretty soon.

Andrew Reynolds joins an elite crew of skateboarders on Nixon Watches. The official Nixon website revealed today that Andrew Reynolds is the latest skateboarder signed to the watch giant and will have his own style and flavor embedded into a new watch line up. This comes as great news for Reynolds, with his new Deathwish project launching out of Baker, and the new Emerica shoes which some say could have “lights” on them. (according to recent ads) Andrew Reynolds has been doing some great things lately, and this could be seen as another piece to the puzzle. Altamont & Nixon…now that’s a collaboration that has money written all over it.
