Lot’s of updates to our NEW site, tons of fresh new type in the works, some new art in the street, the SOFT&FURRY™ logo contest is heatin’ up, and our new line of DIY x DIY toys are in development. Oh, lots of fresh new shit over at JoyEngine too!!!

If you are out in the LA area, def check out the August 1st event from http://sneakerpimps.net. They have Public Enemy, Ghostface Killah, Kids in the Hall and various DJ’s performing on the stage… but what the real show is in my opinion are the live art installation shows that will be going on throughout the concert.
Art will be created live by one of my faves, Tokidoki (tokidoki.it), Peekaboo!monster peekaboomonster.com), Peabe pea-be.com) and others. If you haven’t checked out these guys art before, go take a peek. All 3 are known for their stylized characters, tokidoki has branched into many arenas, including some sick skate decks; Peekaboo! is starting to do the same; and Peabe is just busy creating some way out there sketches. Click to see more for some art previews from these three guys.
The SOFT&FURRY™ logo design comp is heatin’ up with submissions from all over the globe in its first few days. If you’re into designer art toys and think you got what it takes to design the logo to adorn the packaging of the new S&F™ handmade, limited-edition line of collectibles, get on in there.

We know you’ve been on the edge of your seats, but you can take a deep breath now and get to work! SOFT&FURRY™ is a project dedicated to creativity and collaboration. The premise behind S&F™ is to elicit participation in an alternative logo design competition. The winning logo will adorn the packaging and other associated elements of an all new, fully custom, handmade line of designer collectible toys.
That’s right! You can submit up to 3 logos every week. The S&F™ review board will post the weeks winner every Sunday night. At the end of 8 weeks a grand champion will be picked from the 8 finalist. And then you’ll just have to wait and see what’s next…
The first submission deadline is this Friday, so you better get crackin’

We’re thankful to be busy… and love our jobs. Find out why at cypher13.com and check out what our homies are up to at joyengine.com!!! Remember this… SESHN is the bomb, yo. Peace.

New t-shirt design by cypher13 for Carrot Clothing!!! You can check out Carrot’s current line here.

Hi all! Tony from KAST Design Company here - www.kastdesignco.com. I’m a designer/photographer living in Seattle. Thanks to SESHN for the offer to join in. I’m not much of a blogger but feel I can do well if I apply myself. I’ll start with the image below of a shirt design I created for a friend who wanted a “cocky, retro waterskier shirt”. I actually did several designs and this was not picked - but of course, it’s the one I liked the most. Probably not cocky enough. Ain’t that just the way…
